Use an institution plan (Enterprise)
Join your institution's or team's Enterprise plan, or ask about bringing Murfy to your institution.
The Enterprise plan is for institutions and teams. When an institution signs up with Murfy, its members can use the Enterprise plan without paying individually.
Join your institution's plan
Depending on how your institution is set up, you join in one of two ways.
Join with an invitation code
When your institution's admin invites you, you'll get an email titled "... has sent you an invitation code".
- Sign up for Murfy or log in.
- Click your profile picture at the top right of the dashboard and go to
Subscription→Redeem code. - Enter the invitation code from the email and click
Redeem.
You're done when you see "Enterprise plan subscription has been successfully completed."
The invitation code expires at midnight on the 14th day after it's issued. If it has expired, ask your institution's admin for a new code.
If you didn't get the invitation email, check:
- the inbox of the email address you gave your institution
- your spam or promotions folder
- if you still can't find it, ask your institution's admin
Sign up with your school or institution email
If your institution has registered its email domain, signing up with an email on that domain adds you to the institution automatically. When it's applied, the dashboard shows "Your account is now on the ... Enterprise plan."
If you're on the Pro plan
- People on the Pro plan can join an institution too. When you join, your Pro subscription is cancelled right away and refunded.
- Before you join, a confirmation window lists three things, one line each: the cancellation, the refund, and that the institution plan is applied.
- Once you have joined, the Murfy operations team is notified that a refund is due, and the team processes the refund.
- When you join, your credits start over based on the institution.
Check your institution plan
Under Subscription → Manage subscription, you can see that you're on the Enterprise plan and your institution contact. This plan is provided by your organization, so there's no separate invoice.
You can also see what's shared with your institution contact:

| Name, school email, organization, job, number of projects (as an organization-wide total) | Project titles and contents, your individual AI credit usage |
Your organization and job are shared exactly as you entered them when you signed up. You can change them in Edit your profile.
