LaTeX templates

Start a project from a conference or journal template.

Choose a template in Murfy

  1. On the dashboard, click Create a project → Explore templates.
  2. Type a template name in the search box (e.g. IEEE).
  3. Click the template card you want.

Clicking a card creates a project named after the template and opens the editor. The compiler is set to match the template.

Each card has a badge that shows who made the template:

  • Official: provided by the conference or journal
  • by murfy team: made by the Murfy team

Choose a template on the Murfy website

You can also browse templates on the LaTeX templates page.

  • Use in Murfy: creates a project from the template in Murfy.
  • Download: downloads the template's source files.

Click a template to open its detail page, where you can preview the PDF and follow the Source link to the template's original site.

Use in Murfy opens a link that creates the project for you. When you open such a link, Murfy creates a new project from the template, sets the compiler the template needs, and opens the editor. The project is named after the template. If the link doesn't name it, the project is called "New project".

If a link doesn't include a template, Murfy takes you to the template list instead.
